UNYF YOUTH NETWORK 

YOUTH ASSOCIATIONS OF THE UNYF ASSEMBLY

The  United Nations Youth Associations (UNYA) of the following Higher Education Institutes / Universities are the officially registered to work independently under the supervision and co-ordination of the UNYF. UNYF will recognize the appointments of UNYA Executive Committee only after holding a proper AGM. UNYF will approve all new Projects, monitor progress and quality delivery of each project to certify its completion with/without the Project Audit Report.

 

Register your University/Institute with UNYF by submitting the following documents

Fast-Track Registration - If the University/Institute is interested to join the UNYF Student Network (SNet), then scanned all documents mentioned below and email it to unyouth@mail2diplomat.com. You request will be acknowledged by UNYF by sending you an Official Registration Number with instructions to post the original letters and supporting documents needed to finalize the registration process.

1. Letter of Request from the Vice Chancellor/Registrar/Principal/President to the Hon. Shasheendra Rajapaksa, Director-General, United Nations Youth Federation of Sri Lanka (Head of the University/Institute will server as the Patron of the new United Nations Youth Association (UNYA) )

2. Vice Chancellor/Registrar/Principal/President Letter of Recommendation to the UNYF for the appointment of Founder Teacher-In-Charge of the newly formed United Nations Youth Association (UNYA) (attach a copy of the Teacher's Bio Data. Term of Office will be maximum of 12 calendar months. Extension of the next term will based on the feedback received from both Outgoing and Incoming Student Executive Committee members, to the Director-General of UNYF. Students need to directly and individually post the feedback on or before 15th January of the respective year.)


3. Principal's Letter of Recommendation to the UNYF for the appointment of Student Advisor(s) (attach a copy of the Bio Data of a Sponsor/s who will support 12 months of administration expenses of the UNYA.Extension of the next term will based on the feedback received from both Outgoing and Incoming Youth President, Youth Secretary, Youth Treasurer and Youth Editor to the Director-General of UNYF. Students need to directly and individually post the feedback on or before 15th February of the respective year.)


4. The Names List of the Founder Youth Executive Committee as approved by the Vice Chancellor/Registrar/Principal/President, Teacher-In-Charge and Student Advisor. (Youth President, Youth Vice President-1, Youth Vice President-2, Youth Secretary, Youth Assistant Secretary-1, Youth Assistant Secretary-2, Youth Treasurer, Youth Deputy Treasurer, Youth Assistant Treasurer, Youth Editor, Youth Assistant Editor (Sinhala Publications), Youth Assistant Editor (Tamil Publications). 


5. The Names List of the other Founder Youth Members as approved by the Vice Chancellor/Registrar/Principal/President, Teacher-In-Charge and Student Advisor.


UNYF will also register Youth Members of YNet and GNet. Therefore full name of the Members (as per the Identity Card or Passport, NIC# / Passport #, Date of Birth, Gender (Male/Female) and Permanent address, Temporary Address, Email, Home Phone No., Mobile Phone No should be detail in a separate sheet of paper. This will also enable the Member to directly request for a Services from UNYF when required by him/her.
